A edição deste ano de Concurso de Vinhos de Escanções de Portugal atribuiu 6 TAMBULADEIRAS GRANDE OURO, uma para CABEÇA DE TOIRO RESERVA BRANCO, e 71 TAMBULADEIRAS GRANDE OURO - QSJB BRANCO E TINTO E QUINTA DO BOIÇÃO RESERVA BRANCO E TINTO e CABEÇA DE TOIRO GRANDE RESERVA, CAVES VELHAS ROMEIRA CHARDONNAY recebeu 90 PONTOS e SELO DE QUALIDADE, CABEÇA DE TOIRO FERNÃO PIRES foi aprovado com TAMBULADEIRA DE PRATA. A iniciativa reconhecida pelo Instituto da Vinha e do Vinho (IVV), realizou-se nos passados dias 15 e 16 de julho, na sede da Associação dos Escanções de Portugal, cujo objetivo passa pelo estreitamento das relações entre os escanções, com os amigos do vinho e com organizações e empresas ligadas à produção e comercialização de bebidas.
This year's edition of the Portuguese Sommelier Wines Competition awarded 6 GRANDE OURO trays, one for CABEÇA DE TOIRO RESERVA WHITE, and 71 GRAND OURO TAMBULADEIRAS - QSJB WHITE AND RED, QUINTA DO BOIÇÃO RESERVA WHITE AND RED e CABEÇA DE TOIRO GRANDE RESERVA, CAVES VELHAS ROMEIRA CHARDONNAY RECEIVED 90 POINTS AND QUALITY SEAL, CABEÇA DE TOIRO FERNÃO PIRES was approved with SILVER TRAVEL. The initiative recognized by the Instituto da Vinha e do Vinho (IVV), took place on the 15th and 16th of July, at the headquarters of the Associação dos Escanções de Portugal, whose objective is to strengthen relations between the sommeliers, with the friends of wine and with organizations and companies linked to the production and commercialization of beverages.

Aníbal Coutinho, Diretor Técnico do Concurso UVA de OURO e Enólogo Continente, avaliou, em junho, toda a gama de vinhos tranquilos, licorosos e espumantes disponíveis nos lineares dos supermercados e hipermercados Continente, aplicando critérios técnicos para efetuar uma pré-seleção de cerca de 600 vinhos nacionais que foram escrutinados entre os dias 31 de maio e 1 de junho, em prova cega certificada pelo IVV, por um painel de especialistas nacionais prestigiados. Os resultados desta edição do Uva de Ouro foram divulgados já em agosto, tendo Lagosta sido distinguido com Ouro e Cabeça de Toiro Reserva Tinto com prata.
Aníbal Coutinho, Technical Director of the UVA Gold Contest and Continente Enologist, evaluated, in June, the entire range of still, liqueur and sparkling wines available in Continente supermarkets and hypermarkets, applying technical criteria to carry out a pre-selection of about 600 national wines that were scrutinized between the 31st of May and the 1st of June, in a blind tasting certified by the IVV, by a panel of prestigious national experts. The results of this edition of Uva de Ouro were released in August, with Lagosta being awarded with Ouro and Cabeça de Toiro Reserva Red with silver.
